Jordan Harmon is Vice President of Strategy at CITYMD.
Jordan was previously founding Managing Director & AVP for Population Management at the Center for the Advancement of Value in Musculoskeletal Care at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). There he focused on helping clinical teams deliver high value care. The center pulls together expertise from HSS to rapidly develop and deploy programs, systems, and tools to fast-track the delivery of high value care at HSS and beyond. Jordan worked with interdisciplinary teams at HSS to develop these new high-value care solutions for the enterprise and the broader healthcare market. Before co-leading the center, Jordan was Senior Director of Operational Excellence, where he oversaw clinical care transformation initiatives for the hospital.
Prior to HSS, Jordan was a leader in the Faculty Group Practice (FGP) at NYU Langone Medical Center and was a management consultant with both Navigant and Huron Healthcare, working with many leading healthcare organizations throughout the country to improve operational and financial performance.
Jordan is also currently Director of Advocacy at Costs of Care, a global NGO that curates insights from clinicians to help delivery systems provide better care at lower cost. Costs of Care has received national attention and been profiled in NY Times, NEJM, and ABC News for efforts to demonstrate how over-treatment can harm patients. Jordan’s work at Costs of Care has focused on bringing cost-conscious decision making to the bedside, leading to the best possible care at the lowest cost.
