Digital Health CT is kicking off our program and we are thrilled to welcome our inaugural cohort to Hartford. The next three months will be filled with great learnings, and the startups will have to dedicate themselves in order to extract as much from the program as possible. Our teams will eagerly anticipate what is to come over the next few months, as they have the opportunity to rapidly grow and develop their businesses thanks largely to input from our program partners at Hartford HealthCare, Trinity College, UConn School of Business, and Launc[H] Hartford.
Our entrepreneurs come from across the globe, and they will share common goals and embark on a journey that they will never forget. New friendships will form and innovative ideas will certainly spark.

The top 10 startups have come through a rigorous scouting and application process, as well as an intense few Selection Days this past September. They have now arrived in Hartford and are ready to spend the next 3 months scaling up their businesses and perfecting their value propositions.
Their schedules are jam-packed, so the teams must be prepared for what will be an exhausting (but highly rewarding) three months. There will be workshops led by industry experts focused on everything from Lean Methodology and Product Validation, to Financial Modelling and Growth Hacking. Our startups will also experience invaluable meetings with corporate partners and mentors, as well as evening socials to relax and unwind.
Save the date for Demo Day, our program-ending event that will take place on February 10 at The Bushnell. You will witness the culmination of our startups’ hard work, drive, and persistence as they to showcase their ventures to the world!
Our scouting process took place over the course of three months. We completed 3 FastTrack events and by Selection Days we reviewed 500 plus startup applications from over 50 cities, showcasing the program’s global reach. Through collaboration with our partners, we have selected a talented group of digital health startups and we are excited to have them join us here in Hartford.
2020 Digital Health CT Startups
Digital Health has become an exceedingly important sector of healthcare in recent years, as the health industry embraces the rise of digitization. Many major healthcare organizations are turning to startups as a source of innovation as they seek methods to provide improved health outcomes to modern-day consumers.

Among the 10 startups that represent our inaugural cohort, nine are from the United States and one is from Israel. This demonstrates that the United States is becoming a major hub for digital health startups.
From focusing on behavioral health to a strong passion for inpatient care and reproductive health, the 10 companies that we selected exhibit a wide variety of digital health trends that have each grained traction throughout 2019.
We hope you will join us for our digital health Demo Day, on February 10 at The Bushnell in Hartford.
